Let's just hope the surf is big enough to fit that ridiculous hat in the barrel.

Is the Team Challenge a thing of the past? Did the one in Oceanside and is was really fun. Just wondering, if time and conditions allow us, are we planning for a Team Challenge in HB.

Anthony

After watching that EQ video I might give up kneeboarding because "I WANT TO BE A COWBOY"

How cool is the Team Challenge? SO fun!

Tom- Is it gonna be Clique vs Clique (Cove vs Santa Cruz vs O'side vs Porto vs Blacks vs OB ect ect)? Shaper vs Shaper? Random?

Classic Scott!! My gal told me EQ was in that series and I had to watch it. I only got to see that episode from the clip and of course he dies again. Dammit Ed! you need to get some long term series, where the show ends before you do. Thats Brutal. 8)

Thanks for the reminder Joe! 8)

For everyone else, even if contests aren't your thing and you don't plan to enter, you should definitely come by and check it out! Besides seeing some great surfing, the contest is also a fun time, a gathering of the tribe that shouldn't be missed!

And then there's always great gear in RAFFLE-MANIA! :P

Just saw that Patrick Evans has entered! Great news. Anybody who attended the KSUSA Titles in Oceanside remember the ripping Patrick did, along with Backer, Salfen, and Quinn 8) These four made up the Finals. If I remember correctly, it was Patrick who turned Barry on to kneeboarding :D

Double wing swallow single fins were a design standard. I took my first trip to the North Shore in the winter of '75 with a SeaSki 5'8" double wing swallow single fin and a my "gun", a SeaSki 5'11" pin tail single fin kneeboard. Ah the memories......
