EQ and Beeline- Keep posting! Your backgrounds and experience are an integral part of this site.

There is a big difference between personal opinions and a troll just trying to f*&k things up.

EQ you better not "wus out" and not compete! You validate my entire competitive existence. Beating you in a heat is the pinnacle of my competitive goal    Well maybe you or Tom Linn

We need your passion, enthusiasm, and YES your color commentary. :P 8)

I agree with Wayne! It just wouldn't be the same without ole Quinner and his bag of tricks as well as his loud humorous voice on the mike; between heats.

This site used to be a beacon in a sea of crappy, promotion filled surf forums. Personally my stoke for kneeboarding has increased ten fold as a direct result of finding this site a few years ago. Those of us outside of California and Australia had no place to find information on board design, surfing styles, or the general state of a sport that was assumed to be dead or dying by the general surfing public.

Personally, I would like to thank all of those who have taken the time and energy to create and support this site. I have noticed that as the site has grown there is just more congestion. Congestion of ideas and on the forums and in the album. Growth is good but I agree that it has to be managed. I would hate to lose all those professional quality photos I drool over but would like mine to stay on the top page for more than a few hours.

I also miss the input and participation from the shapers. Don't know what happened but they are important to us...the established to the picklefork spoon guys. I have known a lot of shapers and they are generally passionate and protective over their ideas. Don't know how to include them back in but we need them.

And my last thought in my longest post/rant ever on KSUSA. Maybe this is in left field but what about teaming up with a group like the ISA Masters or the KSUSA allowing Masters SUS in their events? SUP or Paddleboard maybe? There are just not enough numbers for us outside of Cali and Australia to put on events solo. And please don't even mention Surfing America or their minions to me...I tried.

We are having a Kneeboard Division in The Memorial Expression Session at South Padre Island, Texas May 2, 2008. The entry is free and the water warm. There is a 4' minimum on the wave face over a 2 day period that rolls to the next weekend. Would love to have kneelos from outside and maybe even an exhibition team from KSUSA.

Yeah Quadfin & others,

KSUSA has been an invaluable source of info as well as helping to keep the stoke alive for a lotta guys (& gals) who are maybe a bit off the beaten track! On the southern tip of Africa we only have a few kneelos, so:
I often am the only kneelo out; I only got 1 kneelo surf buddy that I sometimes surf with; I dont know any kneelo shapers or have other knowledgable people to bounce board design/shaping questions off so my shaping is done largely in isolation  EXCEPT for this website :)

This forum gives me a lot of answers to unasked questions, makes me think a bit, laugh and also shake my head too

So, agree to disagree but always treat each other with respect

cheers

Andy
