Future Fins/Vector Lineup Boards

Post by Howard »

Just changed changed out the fins on my new 6' x 22 1/2 rounded pin tri fin to the Vector fins (VF 460 108mm Base x 111 Height) that Future Fins are making and they are sweet. Speed from nowhere. Has anybody else played around with these also?

This board has heaps of kick thru a really foiled out nose and is unburiable on a late straight down the face late take off. The extra rocker also makes it rip a tight arc on a round house because once you get it over on the rail it just follows the rail line. The board was shaped by REX out of Hawaii through Lineup in Sydney. Also its got double concave thru the tail and it just goes off in any situation here in the reef situations here in Okinawa.

I've been looking at the Vector fins for my 6'0" x 22 1/2 round tail 5 fin.
I've been really happy with FT1 in front / AM2 trailing. Waiting for big winter stuff to put different fins to the test.

Thanx for the feedback, Howard.
