hello
Steve Artis..how is it mate?
SF is down at Phillip Is and may not get your message for a week or so.
This is Simon's first contest since the World Title Final 1996 in Wollongong (which, of course he won).
I say this because I want to introduce you to this site by saying that you happen to be the first ever Kneeboard Pro-Contest Winner in Australia (and therefore dare I say, the Planet).
The O'Neill Pro '74..you beat Crawford at home (Northy) on a countback.
PC went the bowly (and short) alley rights.. you went the setto lefts. aaaaalll the way down the beach.
And won.
ON TOPIC
I am still tripping out about "Now and Then"...
First copies found me yesterday..
Simon and Rebecca, this is way too cool.
Thankyou to you both..
OFF TOPIC
The Artist..
Thanks for those nose vees @ Flecky's in Harbord Road c.1979. They've bloody stayed with me ever since.
PS
And so have the concaves..
enjoy your retirement..(just remember to take the lens cap offfffff....only when you film that is ).
McGrigor Surfboards,
Brookvale

congrats
Simon,
Congrats on the premier of "Now and Then!" Through your surfing and videos, you've arguably done as much as anyone on the planet to keep the Kneeboarding stoke alive and well. I can't wait to see the vid.
I'm also stoked to hear that you're going to Phillip Island - good luck! Kneeboarding is unique in that the history of our sport is relatively brief and we can still meet with and surf with most of the legends who paved the way (but sadly not all). It's great to see many of these same innovators getting involved in contests and gatherings - this is huge in motivating the next generation.
Keep at it!
Jack
