Hello fellow anomalies,
Sharkbait here- first post, glad to find this site! I'm getting a new old fish shaped, and I'm looking for a source for marine ply keel fins. So far I've found Paul Jensen's very nice 9" by 5" fins. Any of you use them? Whaddaya think? The fins on my dying John Mel are slightly smaller, 4 by 7 or so, would love to dial in close copies...who builds such things these worrisome days?
Thanks a bunch!

I have shaped a couple of sets of 9 x 5" ply keels,(not to mention hundreds of glass fins) one for a lis style kneeboard and one for a standup fish. Made from 12mm birch plywood, which is lighter and has thinner laminations than marine ply(as they are totally sheathed, there is no need for marine ply), they worked great in the kneeboard (standup not finished yet), you can see pics in the photo section, they are similar to Paul Jensens keels. If you can't find any locally send me a mail and I will foil you some f.o.c, as they weigh little, i am sure the postage to you will be negligible. Good luck with your search.
Cheers
