novos april comp this sunday (8am,we are not as lazy as i last posted),from memory at last comp it was discussed to meet at 7.30 but not sure bout this,do you know headwax? meet at 2nd creek redhead or if southerly conditions awabakal st blacksmiths is usually the venue,all welcome

yeah meet at 2nd creek carpark, Redhead Beach this Sunday from 7.30am.
Our regulars from the Central Coast and the Bay can be slotted into later heats, to give them a chance to travel........ nice bunch of blokes aren't we.

let me share (one) of the last ever heats surfed for the KKK

North Narrabeen...4 feet..late ( very 80's)..

all heats drawn up and in the water..except for one.

..waiting for Simon to turn up.

Damien Gaynon and myself left (no-one ever wants to surf against DY Damo )

Simon then, arrives.

Last 1st round heat..Damo, Simon and me.

Nov wanders up half way through and says,

"Who's winnin' ?"

Ummm

"Brucie..(huh?)..was the rather confused reply!!??"

Truth huh.. but bummer was, I had taken three squirters and Farrer and Damien had posted only one..

talk about sittin' in the shorey..

its a beautiful sunny day in newy,an the boss(shannon berwick) thinks he has seen a cloud in the sky so its another day off to go surfin,geez its good to work outdoors,heato works for us to as well as barney,would you trust your house to a bunch of kneelos?ps heatos only gettin better cause we seem to have a lot of wet days when the surf is crankin.

wondering if you could give baden a shout for me.
tell him i had a great time with him on the north shore
and i still tingle while thinking back to the 'magic session'
that we shared at backyards 1 arvo, we paddled out into
occasional DOH+ peeling off the second reef then jacking
across the inside shallows it was awesome
for a visual check out the photo of baden in the gallery where he
has uplifted arms..... definately 1 of my favorite surfs of the trip
