...........and by the way everyone, I've been thinking we should have a kneelo weekend gathering(fri - sun) in the lazy month of January for anyone & anybody who wants to show up(vicco's, canetoads, crows, kids, girlfriends, boyfriends, wives, wives & girlfriends, nanna's etc).

Maybe the Bull Paddock up north(NSW mid north coast), just camping, surfing, hanging out, playing music, drinking beer with a bunch of likeminded misfits(sounds just like a KSA comp but without the competition)

so many barrels that I wanted to cry.

25 knott westerly, 4 foot swell, bank to myself for two hours till 4.00PM

take off late, peak with a winding wall, shake the wind from the eys, delay the turn, delay, delay a bit more, crank the bottom turn as the wave finally throws out, select the slott, feel the nose vee chattering in the westerly, get covered, get covered, get covered, see Redhead framed by the narrowing lip, get covered, get covered, wave opens out, go higher, come boring out, flick off, laugh, hoot, paddle back out,

sit there and think "f@#& life is good,"

feel guilty think "f@#& life is good" again

look for white pointers in dark murky water,

see wave on horizon, forget white pointers, paddle,

do it all again

and do it again...

20 "impossible to screw up" barrels in 2 hours

get out of water, walk down deserted beach

think "f@#&, can die happy now"

novos time again! meet 7.30am 2nd creek redhead this sunday.

a good turnout of novos (20) were greeted with crappy but contestable 2ft surf on sunday , surfing well on the day was darren cooper,garry hamer,barney adler,charlie and old bobby 2 socks who made the semis.

garry hamer won the repa.
