Well, I have many years to draw upon but the title is "NOW"
So,
1. KSUSA (have reconnected w/ friends from 25 yrs ago)
2. KSUSA Titles in Santa Cruz. The opportunity to meet so many new kneelo friends and the opportunity for a personal challenge.
3. Gatherings. The opportunity to meet so many new kneelo friends.
4. Schoelkopf. My new stick is a year and a half old already and really ignited a new stoke for kneeriding!
5. Buddy. My new fish. Bring it on!
6. DawnPatrols. Jack's been my inspiration. DPs have got me feeling YOUNGER than ever and have increased my fitness. Not to mention all of the great uncrowded waves.
7. World Titles 2007 in Santa Cruz. I knowwhat you mean Mark.
8. Worlds in 2008 or 09; New Zealand or Australia or ? count me in!
9. The opportunity to get acquainted with kneelos from around the world. Especially Australia, UK, SA, and PR.
10. As Martin said, "Even when I surf alone, I know you're all out there"!!!
Keep up the stoke!! Keep charging OUT THERE!!

1) I'm not a clone for doing so
2) I can transfer the skills of bodyboarding to a kneeboard (paddling w/ fins and late drops, and deep positioning)
3) I can relate to people that I otherwise would have nothing in common with--or better yet, relate to people that I otherwise never would have known, but yet I have something in common with! Mark's the man here.
4) Its just FUN!
5) I get strange looks from chicks who think I'm a total kook for wearing swimfins with a 6' surfboard.
The last one is the best. VERY few people seem to have seen a kneelo around. Speaking of that, I feel like I shouldn't even be making this list because its been about a month and a half since I kneeled. Sorry guys! Last swell that came through was walled, and I could only get the beachbreaks so I just boogied some strong, walled barrels at Manhattan. Fun...but I'm itching to get back on that thing.
Basically, ever since I almost broke my ankle I couldn't even kneel on the floor. But its 90% now and I think I'll be good for next sesh! Finals are this very coming week so again, so no luck there, but...
...this summer...
...will be...
the summer of the KNEELO!
