Chris the first time I drew that logo, it took me 3 full days of hand-drafting to generate the colour-seperated artwork
It came from a desire to create something with movement..

Hot Buttered has long supported kneeboarders and I have been involved jointly with HB/TF over many years
the logo itself was first drawn 1985 and has undergone possibly 7 morphs (all now with CAD assistance

Coca-Cola Skysurfer TV Commercial 1992
This TV Advertisement had the highest amount of International exposure of any Aussie produced commercial..and featured guys jumping out of aeroplanes strapped into
'skysurfer' boards

and skysurfing down to the ground to grab a coke
I had the opportunity to build those boards for Coke (with the assistance and advice of Terry Fitzgerald) and they responded by featuring the
Flashpoint Surfing exploding logo device on all the advertising material (and boards, of course

)
