I too think it's classic that someone posts footage of a guy ripping in a wide range of waves and all of the "experts come out with their critical analysis. All of this his board is too long, etc... The guy is in Bali, maybe the day before that board was too short for outside corner Ulu? Who knows? All that matters is that the guy is ripping and it looks like he is having fun.
What's really funny to me; the guy rips harder than 90% of the people that post on this forum., including those being so critical and he gets slammed.

my reading of this thread was a little different and I didn't see anyone 'slam' this guys surfing. he rips, the vid is pretty clear on that.
my perspectives on the comments regarding a shorter board, were more "imagine how much harder he'd be ripping on a smaller board meant for the smaller waves".
however this is only my opinion, and as we all know opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and some smell worse than others.
