well I just figured out how those pointy bits and the bloodstains (red things on the rocks) go together

but seriously, animating the breaking wave is a steep learning curve

Also, friend of mine is a kneeboard artist, also a Palestinian sympathiser (I don't neccessarily agree/nor disagree with his politics, in fact I am apolitical/atheist/assymetrical

)... but he is a good friend.

He won a Queen's scholarship (English Queen) when he was young (she has one of his paintings), and part of the scholarship was travelling. During the scholarship he stayed in Palestine for a while and became friendly with the natives. He has recently visited there and seems to have an insiders' viewpoint.

I've been concentrating on keeping to a reduced tonal scale and letting the colours do the talking. As you probaly guessed, the idea is to have one parameter in harmony (tone) and another parameter in disharmony (warm versus cool colours) The darks are generally glazed and have a bit more dimension in real life (once you put a 250 watt spotlight on them

) and let a wee bit of the canvas to show through.

That was my first ever attempt at modelling a three dimensional object. That rail fin is probably a mountain peak, but maybe I should turn it into a real fin

Your comments about ASIO is a sign of the times where,'freedom of speech' has been redefined within the confines of the rules and laws passed by our elected leaders to stop free expression of idea's and comments. We don't want to offend..

Case in point being what was enacted in NSW to make sure WYD went smoothly... thank goodness a Judge, free from the constraints of politics made a good call.

I could go on but that would only invite unwanted and unwarranted interest from ????

Can't wait until I can get back into the water (10 months I'm told).....in the mean time 'I'm using my Wings'.

Great stuff Headwax!!!! I admire your ability to play with this new generation's technology.. This forum has intriqued me due to the portfolio I developed as a youngster, had gallery work at age 18. Would post pics., but not to savy. I'm truly impressed with your work!!! Thanks for posting.
