ah yes

the kingdom of heaven is within so who gives a rats whats out - though the mrs did make me shave off the goatie as i needed to spruce my image in the work place for future employment oppotunities

wear gloves in winter - more to keep fingers warm and buff up for summer  wear a helmet all seasons

in summer i wear this funky 80's steamer - classic pastal yellows, pinks and some other colour - l cut the arms and legs off - bought it at a garage sale $10 - goes great with the blue zinc and the helmet

kneeboarding is anti fashion - anti fashion is to be free of consumer packaging and free of media manipulation, free to decide for oneself

would mike moore kneeboard?

its an election year in usa and aust - wear the webbed gloves of objective global thinking and voting

The only comment I've received to my face was at good old M_ _ _ L_ _ _ _ _ _ _ G, where one of the good ol' boys asked if my (webless) gloves were boxing gloves, cuz they better be!

Use them with caution, pay attention to your stroke. Might just be the way I'm put together, but they seemed to generate shoulder problems when I tried them.

I like the feel of the gloves and have used em' in summer water temps since the early 80's (I tried using the full fingered type in winter but don't like the lack of dexterity due to the webs extending to my finger tips, so in winter temps I use 2 mil gloves, no webs).... having said that, I'll have to admit that when I don't wear gloves it feels like there's no hands on the ends of my arms, no pulling tension at all.... I'm coming up on 60 years old and haven't experienced any shoulder problems.... yet....

Gloves

It's the same concept swimmers have been using forever. Yeah, you might paddle faster at first, but then you just tire faster. Not to mention the extra strain on your muscles. It would be a great work out if that is what you want.

i tried them once or twice but the last time was early 90's at big Backyards. a huge set loomed on the horizon so i paddle furiously (as everyone does in this situation) there was so much resistance i started to give out after 30 yrds or so. by the time this huge wave was breaking right in front of me i was spent. i did a pathetic duck-dive attempt with my spaghetti arms and got absolutely f%ckin worked. after several waves on the head i regained my composure (ie: got back to the surface) i ripped them off and threw them away. they would probably be great for smaller to medium surf and keeping your hands warm but i would'nt put em on in serious surf again.

I use em in the winter. they make the diffrence for me when a big set is coming and you have to scratch to get over it. also work great for breaking ability when about to get sucked back over the falls. also great for getting my arms in shape for archery. dont like em in summer because they make unusual tan lines heh heh and why wear gloves in summer?
