Malibu/County Line

Kava, I would be up for it- my stompin ground in the 70's. If its crowded, Drainpipes or zeroes or ? maybe Hueneme??? On a good south this and a few others are other alts. PM me for details. Meantime, one of my products is manufactured in Costa Mesa-I am Usually the lone Kneelo at 9th these days unless Skansand hits it in the afternoon. BTW Second point, if you time it right at Malibu, cranks on windswell with a good background south - crowds tend to drift to first point, I would not even bother a go out at first point-longboards vs shortboards vs yakers vs stand up padbdr's-a real circus. County or Clowny Slime as we described it is OK these days- real transient crowd. Surfed it as the swell filled in Thursday afternoon,5/4/06. It was fun but bumps out a bit and it tends to get walled on days like today.
Peace
Kevin

These days- if I'm surfing County Line- I surf around the top of the point at the creek mouth. I've seen one other KB fish rider out there at times.
Its the spot my Malibu surfing buddy always surfs (he's a standup who grew up on Sweetwater Meas above Malibu point).

Pretty fun R's and L's.

KAVA - Paddle up around the point right in front of the creek mouth. I usually surf there with my old Malibu standup buddy whenever I'm in SoCal visiting my wife's family. The beaches at County Line can be packed but you can catch a ton of waves around the point.
