Make friends with the neighbors!!!!!! if you use a planer or surfoam ,a respirator. swaylocks would be a good recomendation to ask a lot o questions that are plentiful in those asked regularly. I shape in a shed next to the house-tarps full on ghetto action-hahahah! i do use a shop vac with a hose adapter on my planers-and a good broom is a good friend as well. there are lots of good plans on shaping rooms if ya get to the point of more boards check out a few local shaping rooms as they have it down pretty well. room dims depend on good practical common sense-if ya want my stuff pm me.

after losing the garage to the wifes small business running a nursery school, I had to resort to 2 barstools and the back garden - worked best late arvo when the sun was low & windy days dispersed the dust cloud !
bar stools were handy for a quick beer afterwards...
In a space large enough to park a car you can erect 4-2x4's verticle for the light fixtures and with one large box of black poly and a staple gun create a large enough room, duct tape the seams. Drape it all, ceiling floor, big bubble concept. Plan it, stage it, then go. You can have a finished shape and have everything torn down and clean in 1 day. As for glassing just tarp the floor, it's not as invasive.......good luck..
Thanks for all the replies, I just spoke with a friend and we are going to be able to utilize his neighbors shaping "shed" ! Got lucky and he will be gone over Xmas.
I've been checking out Swaylocks, its a great resource and giving me some good ideas.
Jack hit me up when Mesa sees some swell again, was this weekend any good? Saw a couple of waves at Rincon on the drive back.
