The New Zealand kneelo site states the contest will be in the Taranaki area. Here's a site dedicated to promoting surfing in that area, lots of pics of the various waves, and kneeboarding shows up a few times in the pics and text.

That isn`t a silly question. He has left the site and thats why he isn`t around anymore. One more casulty. Beeline is a good buddy of mine and I highly respect his knowledge/thoughts and ideas. A very smart man. There a few of us that talk with him by different means.

There are too many good guys that have stepped away. This is the real loss caused by the dribble from the few that think it is there’s is the only view.
Yes, it's true Beeline took "allot of flack from the banned side". But, I have personally spoken with him and this is not the only reason he left the site. He has actually taken a certain amount of guff from other opposing contributing sides, as well. He was getting it in stereo/surround sound, and was tired of the BS.
"Bad" guys leave (or retaliate with strong words) because THEY don't feel wanted, or that certain contributors refuse to agree with THEIR opinions. As I've stated over and over before, EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES TO THIS SITE HAS A VALID OPINION.
Yes, some of "the Underground" were virulent in their beliefs and words...but how can you automatically write-off the beliefs and opinions of guys with 40+ years of kneeboarding experience under their belts? Those guys were around the scene when our "sport/art" was in it's neophyte infancy. Blowing these guys off is like the new airborne standup crew blowing off guys like Buzzy Trent and Greg Noll. Unreal...

I believe the real problem lies in when kneeboarders start picking "sides".
"So if you want to kneeboard, find the hollowest waves you can, ride as short of a board as possible and go fast and deep. If you want to slip and slide, twist and jerk, go for air then stand up and do it. Let’s keep kneeboarding sacred."

I have left the site because of the obsessive trolling.
and I consulted no one concerning this!
Somehow KidRocks sig But Geno Says..
is bringing back all those warm and fuzzy DeJa Vu feelings.

The above link which contains site rules which forbid everything
to include responding to trolls, but it does not forbid trolling or trolls.
This place does not keep its house in order!
Trowt, Tim Caton, Smells whatever the name had a hard on for me
and a penchant for multiiple identities.
I may be wrong but I now suppose that further trolling will now commence.
Out!
