Hey Enzo,
good to see you on the site, love your work, we'll have to send you up in a chopper to get the shots from out back next time its 10 to 12 ft at Diggers. I'm the guy Paul & Bruce knocked out in the vets heat so I didn't have to go out in the cauldron on Sunday (they played right into my hands
).

Well done you guys. Outstanding mr Herriot & Parkes.
The video is nice but I regret not being able to be there this time,
maybe next year!!
Where was this? Looks like the little bay at the north end of Diggers? Filthy where ever it was.

Riq,
it was at the very south end of Diggers, where Paul and Dave paddled out to, was nearly around the point heading towards McCawleys, duck diving under 10 to 12 ft of white water sometimes faces rearing up to 15ft, both guys have a set of big ones - but my hats off to Paul as he was the first one out there amongst those storm waves and then went out and did it another couple of times. Good video of the event but as always film just didn't do it justice.
Anyway if you couldn't tell ........ I'm impressed, and didn't mind being shuffled out of my heat by the likes of Paul Herriot.
