What's the possibility of posting some photos, Sam?

my memories of the Bonzer were that the center fin was a very low aspect ratio type, really not much bigger than the side (bonzer) fins. Maybe replacing that fin with a larger (longer) one would have really made a difference?

In case you haven't noticed by now, I'm definitely no expert in this field

that board is freaking sweet. Is that the original center fin? I noticed it was a Ventura board...did The Brothers shape that for you?

I'd like to give 'er a go, but honestly, that thing would look so bitchen hanging on my wall. I think it might be worth a bit of money now.

Hi all
I have allways liked the Bonzer idea and I bonzerd my 6-0 x 23 3/8 squash tail some time ago using the bonzer 5 fin set up and cutting down and reshaping the main fin from an old larger glass fin, this board was a originaly a tri fin.
If you read Malcom Cambells comments in the surfers path you can do any board and they retro fit alot of boards in Hawaii.
The main differance I have noticed is how much smoother it rides and it is qucker, my board does not have the channels but on the new bonzers the channeling is much refined as opposed to the early bonzers with the deep chanels, rail to rail transishon is easy and very responsive alot will have to do with board and rail shape the main thing is open mindedness.
If you look on the bonzer front blog site ther was a post recently of a 5 fin bonzer kneeboard that went Aus so maybe some fead back from who ever it was would be interesting.
Stu.
