Sunday looks like being fine with a light westerly early; although the swell looks to have abandoned us.
Can’t wait to hit the water. It’s been almost a month without surfing for me, but I got the ok yesterday to start surfing again.
Hope to see as many crazy old cripples as possible on Sunday… Should be a hoot.
Until then I’m pushing my shopping trolley around and around and around............
Pppsspppspp woops there I go again…..mumble mumble........................
What are you looking at !.....
Oh no the sky is falling..............................
I need to lie down.....................................
Ah there's the ground...............................
Thud......
Good night.

The story so far:

After another successful outing at Lowes and whilst pushing his shopping trolley around the car park in ever diminishing circles a crazy old kneeboarder finds an abandoned computer. Eventually he figures out how to turn it on and is surprised to find that life does exist outside his confused and insulated world. Slowly at first he starts to communicate with other life forms and eventually he becomes quite accustomed to farting in public.

Jump forward:

So after much chitter chatter across the sub-etha our intrepid anti-hero has organized to meet some of the other creatures that lurk unseen in this strange but impelling parallel universe.

Jump forward again:

Finally the day had arrived..... it was wrapped neatly with plain brown paper and string. It may have been plain...but it had definitely arrived. Our timid yet curious Kneeolithic Kneeanderthal opened up his newly delivered day and was pleasantly surprised to find that it had been delivered in a reasonable condition…slightly windy and cool.....but on the up side it did contain some sunshine and the slight scent of optimism.

Feeling quite content with his small windfall, our crazy old kneeboarder placed the newly acquired day into his shopping trolley and headed off to the rendezvous.

With so many thoughts racing through his head.....Old Crazy decided to ban thought racing as soon as he got back.......“If he got back”.....one of the racing thoughts said on its second lap.
In an effort to clear his mind Old Crazy emptied his mind of the thoughts. This seemed to do the trick and pretty soon he was mindlessly making his way to the beach.

On arrival at the beach and reminiscent of an old Clint Eastwood movie.....No not the one with the red monkey thingy..... the western genre…..you know with all the spooky music and such.......
Don’t worry.....but.....Ok forget the Clint Eastwood analogy and concentrate on the rest of the story.......

Arriving at the preordained check point our crazy old kneeboarder hid in the bushes and waited and waited and.....after a couple of seconds he stopped waiting.....because.....well because his attention span is pathetic that’s why.

Eventually a vast cavalcade of wonderful and mysterious creatures arrived, heralded by marching bands, fireworks and a juggling clown… oh and some bloody great orange monkey thing wanting to know where Clint Eastwood was.
After all the commotion had ceased and the dust had settled.....amazing how much dust a juggling clown can make.

Ok... ok...forget the clowns...yeh... well anyway after all that hullabaloo…and with no connection to it what so ever..... eventually six other kneeolithic kneeanderthals arrived, making a total of seven.....yes I did the math for you.....
So now we have seven Old Crazies..... who it seems have formed some kind of brotherhood or misguided militia.....with a plan for world domination. (insert evil laughter).
Basing their operations from deep in the jungles of Vanuatu…their plan is to.......well lets face it they have no idea.

They do apparently like rum...beer...red wine...falling from bicycles...building things...not building things...avoiding work and not upsetting Americans...or was that upsetting Americans ? Anyway we can discuss that later...so lets not beat around the bush…woops.

In a nutshell seven kindredly kooky and krazy kneeboarders had a surf … a chat enjoyed themselves and have decided that it should be done again.
Well done to all who participated.....unfortunately we can’t reveal their names.....you know with the world domination and all that.

Oh and Old Crazy did make it back.....unfortunately the thought racing has recommenced.
All betting is closed… the next event is due to start in…………………

Sunday bloody Sunday.....that makes tomorrow Monday
And another round of toil with the old hi-ho...hi-ho’s
With the new day in the morning another month is dawning
December has landed on us with a monstrous yuletide thud.

With the silly season now officially running amuck...
The chances of a December gathering of the Old Crazies would probably be a bit hard to organize...

So without further ado...how does mid January sound to you... :?:

Legs eleven is the second Sunday of the month…Anyway if were all keen to go.....

same place... :?:

same time... :?:

Sunday 11 January...Cudgen Creek Carpark...7am N.S.W time (6am real time) :?:

Womble, I'm good for the sun 14th dec - sun 4th jan or the 11th jan or any other day during the break after 29th i'm assuming everyone is having time off over xmas so it wouldn't need to be a sunday eh. Todays surf report for tweed coast - 1-2' closer to 1' actually. Looks like it's gunna be flat for at least a week too. So i think we were lucky to get the waves we did last sunday. I see we have a truce " on that other thread " must have been my joke. 8) AB
