oscalivada, lots of waves if its big on that side. Pound-a-haole go's off. The base is open most of the time. Can call 808-335-4249 (?) I think they give info. If your current or ex military, they rent killer houses cheap right on the beach. Last time I was there, no foot prints in the sand but ours!!!!

BUT! forget all that, call or pm me and come up to the north!! We'll get ya real wet (and then some). Boards? can do

you said something about waves for the kids?
Davidsons pt. has great waves for kids on the smaller days,
reef is much mellower than Popiu reefs

Good info guys..thanks.E-mailed the base and they sent me the forms for a visitor card....Info below. have a friend in the area and they can drop off the info at the gate beforehand.

We have a Guest Card for all those 18 years and above. I have attached
the two page application, there is a $20 fee, per person, to process a
State and Nationwide background check. The application must be dropped
off at the Visitors Pass & ID office located out front before the Guard
Shack. The process takes about three weeks.

Hope this helps you or you may contact me if any questions.

Thank you,
Margie Iglesia

Do you know K. Huffman? He's been living over there since before Iniki...around Kalaheo? He's kind of underground, so I have not been able to get a hold of him...thanks
