Has an American ever made the finals in the ISA Open Division?

Barry got 2nd at Santa Cruz two years ago (damn near won the whole enchilada)! Prior to that Albert got 2nd back in 2002 - I think he was surfing for the USA.

yep Albert was surfing for the USA on those worlds because the stupid Puerto Rico Surfing Federation wanted participants to surf all the contests of the local circuit in order to go and Albert was going to school either in cali or Florida I don't remmember well. I think we (well not me the PRSF) sent to South Africa Amilcar Rivera who finished equal 5th or something...
Always wake up Smiling... That way life starts to line up a little better and a lot more fun...
