Just took the board below..

for the first surf, and my first surf at my new local break.

Total waves caught = 1. Surf was poor, windblown, washing machine chop, and I am out of practice and unfit.

Still it was HUGE FUN.

PS - these moderm boards are bloody fast.....

I love the shape of that board, glad you had fun. Whenever you get a newie, no matter the conditions its like a magnet....gotta get it wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally had good surf here. Its been small but The Lane went to 4'-5' oil glass about 11AM with only a handful of people in the water. 2 people in a small outrigger canoe caught one wave off the Slot.

Nice board - that shape would really work here.
