You have to click through a few standup photos but there's some guy getting pitted on what looks like a spoon. Who da guy? Looks fun.

Jack, you're a master of understatement. I was thinking more along the lines of ... stuffed deep in the churning maw of a frothing beast.

I believe Jeff built the machine himself too.

he does make spoons and has some beautiful boards on his website, was chatting with him yesterday, via email off course

Yes, Jeff McCallum can kneeboard! Steeno you're right he does make some pretty boards. Jeff hand shapes all of his boards. He likes quality insted of quanity. I had the pleasure of meeting him a year ago at a surf shop a couple of miles south of my place. He got his start packing surfboards for Chris Cristenson in 2001, and says he's always wanted to shape even back then.
