A few of us here in South Africa have the original Propel Fins with the angled blade and really like the blend of thrust comfort and weight.
I see they have newer models now where the blade is straighter has anybody tried them ? We would like to know because they do not have here in S.A as far as i can tell and would have to order online.

Regards
Terence

fins

I gleened a tidbit from one of these previous "fin threads" thats helped amazingly. It's in regards to leg cramps and the use of Quinine in the form of tonic water. I keep a cheap six-pack in the car now at all times, an guz one while suiting up. It has eliminated the cramps I use to get like clockwork at around 2hrs. in the water. Unbelievably effective. Everyone who's tried this, that I know, has reported the same results. Good tip, thanks to the previous poster.

Thanks for the reminder mate - I used to get night cramps and started drinking a glass before bed and it worked - will give it a go before a surf and see what happens, though at the moment local surf means I'm only in the water 90 mins at most....

I'm the sort of guy who has 2 sets of fins....the same two sets for the last 10 years.....
all the best,

Scotty

Just got my pair of Dafins, they are very very comfortable and the thrust is really good, easy to walk on too...

Thanks for all your input!

Be fun watching someone get in and out of the water with those on. Do I hear the faint sound of the Mermen in the background?
