What those American kneelos of the 70's inspired me to do was charge the barrel , same now as it ever was .

Late response to EQ

My fin clusters are drivey (similar to conventional setups where rear fin is back same distance side fins are from the stringer). End up near enough to 18/9". I change the lines I draw by having softer (rounder) tail shapes in my mid range boards. This allows me to push bottom turns as hard as I want off the drivey fins but still whip the board around at the lip because of the rounder tail and accentuated rocker in the last 6".

You have to consider the whole package. every board is bigger than the sum of its parts.
