Very interesting WAM

Check the NE Pacific Mercator annimation.

http://www.lajollasurf.org/gblpac.html

Waves from all sides over the next week plus.

Laniakea, Hulton's, Chunn's, etc. etc. has been fun.
Up to 4' last 4 days.
Another small to medium NW pulse in a couple days.
A smattering of NNE & East.
Then the South fills in.
Then later on a rare due West swell event.

(Hasn't been flat out here on the North Shore for more than 4 days all summer.)

Cheap fares from LAX to HNL.

Saw $430 RT on Travelocity etc.

I've got openings until Sept. 13th.

There are some good waves in HB, but the Red Tide is brutal, too brutal for me. Anyone know if there is Red Tide around the Salt Creek area?

My spot in NP was on fire late this morning, got chased down a couple streets by the Red Tide, then finally chased me out after a few hours.

Paddled out to Sunset Pt. this morning......alone. 8)

At 8:30am no less. :D

3-5' NW walls with bowls.
Water temp 79.4 F

Surfed 1 hr solo.
Then was joined by a couple cute girls.

A few others (surf school grads) showed over the next 2 hours.

Could see Rocky Pt. with at least 20 people.

Looking very fun at Sunset Pt. and Back Yards now.
Few people around.
Been great fun waves for 2 weeks running.

Fun size waves in the forecast for the next week and beyond.

$500 RT flights LAX <->HNL RT shown on www.expedia.com

Duty calls, so back to the cool of my AC in the shaping room until later for 2nd session. 8) 8) 8)

Nice report Bud, you scored! We are there with Bill in spirit at least :D

Red tide at Blacks was absent the last 2 mornings. Today was fun with SH+, inconsistent sets with clean shape 8)

Mark, are they attacking you? I was up till 2am the other day with my sinuses being attacked. Went through three hankerchiefs, ugh. The tide was so red, when the wave formed, it looked like clouds of red and black. My fingers felt slimy. I couldn't see my board while laying on it.

Bud, the only question- which board did you ride? It'd take me an hour just to decide from your quiver 8)

Rincon lit up last week for the first time this season. Head high + with 100 of your best friends..

Praying this season will be a lot better than last, too many steep NNW crap last year.
