like the majority i was stuck at work....plus that was 350kms away
so a bit of a drive when the morning was still dead flat, but you dont know unless you go. the nw swell wasnt very big locally + we didnt get any of the sw swell that they got in the southwest of the state

Yeah Mick I dont know what time you got there but I traveled up the cape that morning and saw the sweet (but short ) peaks at Yals..shallows wasnt actually breaking at that time but was further up in the corner, stupid me decided to head back home (cowie) checked Wyadup, Moses, honeys all no good but with southerly swell, I got a wave near home but a mate rang later that arvo that the top end of the cape was cranking by the arvo. Good to see you got the cranking right handers..all to rare down here.
