Team USA - 2015 World Titles

The 2015 Kneeboard Surfing World Titles will be held in Kiama NSW Australia in September. That's only seven months away. Time to get your entries in and start making travel plans.

Who will be representing Team USA? Let us know if you are definitely going or tentative. This will be a top notch event. We would like to have solid US representation there.

Just a head's up, we're only 4 months away from the World Titles in Australia. The US dollar is strong and there may not be a better time to visit AUS. Let Joe or me know if you're planning to be a part of Team USA

So if you are not seeded by KSUSA, can you still enter?

Yes, you can still enter but you will not be ranked. To qualify, competitors should have completed in at least one of the last two KSUSA events or other kneeboarding contest. That can be waived for injuries or travel hardship or other circumstances that prevented you from competing.

I assume that by not being ranked that means not being seeded, is that correct?

That's correct. I don't know the exact format of the World Titles this year. In the past, top ranked competitors were seeded directly into the Open division round of 64 and lower ranked competitors would surf the qualifying rounds of the Open.
