“20 Years of Stoke” West Coast Tour is complete!
We are excited to announce that after four successful live screenings in Orange County, San Diego, Ventura, and Santa Cruz, this kneeboard surfing video by our very own Brad Colwell is now available for all to view!
Brad’s comments from last August when we first announced this video:
“Three years ago KSUSA leadership was brainstorming ideas on how to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Kneeboard Surfing USA in 2023. It was clear that more than events, gatherings, and US Kneeboard Titles, KSUSA is about the people, and there are some amazing people in our community.
Jack suggested creating a video that highlights some of these surfers in short interview-type videos which the group was on board with. And now, here we are with a video that I think everyone will find compelling and entertaining.
“Twenty Years of Stoke” has been a true labor of love for me. Featured surfers are Tom Backer, Sam Coyne, John Mel, Bill Lerner, Chris Buscemi, Shaun Murphy, and Chris Beresford. These guys tell some great stories, and charge. Personally, every time I view these videos I find myself smiling, laughing, focusing intently, or getting choked up. These feelings are the result of my respect for these surfers and the trust they had in me to participate in this project, and for you, the KSUSA community and our shared history over the past 20 years.”
