U.S. Kneeboard Titles Return to Huntington Beach February 16
Huntington Beach, CA (January 7, 2024) – The 2024 Kneeboard Surfing USA Titles and Kneeboard Festival will be held at the Huntington Beach Pier on Friday, February 16, 2024. In addition to crowning a U.S. champion, the event will serve as an important qualifier for the next world titles event being held in South Africa.
One of the premier kneeboarding events in the world, the Kneeboard Surfing USA Titles attracts dozens of the sport’s top competitors. Kevin Skvarna and Rachel Lord were first time winners in 2023 and are expected to defend their titles in the Open and Women’s divisions respectively. In addition, the contest will include divisions for Junior’s, Pro Junior’s, as well as AAA and AA divisions.
Heats will begin at 7 a.m. weather and waves permitting. The public is invited to attend this free event. Registration information for the 2024 Kneeboard Surfing USA Titles is available at www.ksusa.org.
“The KSUSA Titles is one of the longest-running events of its kind in the world,” said Tom Linn, KSUSA President. “We are proud to have hosted 16 U.S. Titles and one World Titles event to help promote the sport and pass on the stoke to a new generation of kneeriders.”
The 2024 US Kneeboard Titles will be used as a qualifying event for the 2024 Kneeboard Surfing World Titles in South Africa. Results of the 2023 and 2024 US Kneeboard Titles will be used to rank US team members competing in the World Titles.
